This film sees Tim Roth as a Bellboy getting caught up in the goings on at 4 different hotel rooms, with each sequence having a different director. There are a few familiar faces such as Madonna, Bruce Willis, Kathy Griffin, and Antonio Banderas. The best scene is easily the one directed by "Desperado" director Robert Rodriquez. It involves a brother and sister spending the night alone in their hotel room and getting into trouble. They start small by trashing the room and by the end of the scene, a dead body has turned up and Ted is on the verge of a breakdown. The scene is sharp, fast and smart comedy. Quentin Tarantino's scene has a funny tone and that Tarantino quality, but it's a bit sloppy. The scene involves a bunch of Hollywood stars placing an interesting bet that may involve the loss of a finger. The other two scenes, involving a group of witches and a husband holding a wife hostage, are not very interesting and are paced too slowly to be entertaining. It's Roth that's really entertaining throughout, with a Jim Carrey-style comedy. Overall, the movie is generally entertaining, but not terribly memorable.
