Well the rating Ive given this should give you some idea of what I thought of this film. Its bad, it really is. I am a fan of comics in general, and specifically Marvel ones, as I tend to like the characters. I read some Elektra comics a while back and thought she was pretty funky so I thought Id watch the film. Just shouldnt have been done, or at least it could have been done so much better but they didnt bother. In fact this film was so bad that Im having difficulty remembering what happened in it. So much of it was so nonsensical and disjointed that it becomes hard. So the film: Elektra is an assassin for hire, made very obvious from the opening sequence. She gets a job to kill a man and his daughter, but doesnt, having made friends with them before she knew what she had to do. The evil Hand (weird demony things that are the evil in the good versus evil stakes) want to kill the daughter, so Elektra decides to help them. They run away. And thats really most of the film. Theres some stuff about Elektras mum being killed by the main bad guy, some quite funky fights and (for the guys) a good 30secs-minute kiss between Elektra and Typhoid Mary. Apart from that there is really nothing going for this film.
