| To sum this film up it is a comedy film that retells history in the American style. Before watching Churchill, I had high expectations of it from seeing the trailers. However, it did not meet my expectations. Now don't get me wrong it was a good film that made me laugh especially the song Churchill (Christian Slater) and US Marine (Chris Jarman) sang, but I expected it to be funnier and expected the plot to be better however it was only of satisfactory standard. If you are a history buff I recommend you sit this film out. Also to understand the jokes you need to know a bit of history. Finally, All I can say is the film was good but not great.
