Brother Bear is Disneys latest traditionally animated film since The Lion King and it is not a disappointment. It is jam packed with all things Disney, great characters, animation, songs and a story line that touches our hearts. This tale is set in North America at the end of the Ice Age; Kenai (Joaquin Phoenix) a Native American boy is awaiting the ceremony that will lead him into manhood. He is not pleased that his quality is love and when he goes after a bear his brother is tragically killed. Kenai is transformed into a bear and is made to learn how to love through the eyes of another. This adventurous story is helped along by the comical character of Coda (Jeremy Suarez) whom Kenai ends up caring and loving as his little brother.

As in Tarzan, Brother Bear has excellent music that is brilliantly done by Phil Collins that brings tears to your eyes. This film is a real tear jerker and will definitely hit your heart, the memory of it brings tears to my eyes so when you go see it bring a good supply of tissues.
