When you see the trailer to this film it is clear that it is going to be a laugh, with Adam Sandler in the leading role falling for Drew Barrymores character. It is a serious romantic comedy which will have you in stitches and tears, that is if you are easily broken. If you are not a fan of Drew Barrymore or Adam Sandler well I tell you this it doesnt matter as this film is guaranteed to make you into at least secret fans. It is about Henry Roth (Sandler) a marine biologist who has problems with commitment and for this reason does not go out with locals. However this all changes when one day he goes to a diner to find Lucy Whitmore (Barrymore) a local who likes making houses out of her waffles??? It all goes well, until the next day when he meets her again and finds out that she cant remember himLucy suffers from short term memory loss after a sever car accident. It is funny to see Henry try each day to make her fall in love with him, with the help of his weird mate Ula (Rob Schneider). Sandler and Barrymore have an excellent chemistry on screen which gives the film an extra star, but if you want to know the ending you have to go see the film. This film is a sure laugh and if you like a film that can make you cry this is for you. If this does not convince you then picture Sean Astin as the steroid bodybuilding brother of Lucy, sporting an unexpectedly toned body and comical speech impediment
