| January 6th, 2k2 Question: I really want to go to Bowling University, I even got accepted, but my dad doesn't want me to go. First off, he says its too expensive (11,000) and that I should go to Morehead (in Kentucky) cos its only 5,000. Second off, I want to study film and computer graphics, and he says thats not practical and that its a stupid waste of 4 years...If I go to Bowling Green and study film my dad isn't going to support me, therefore I'll be in debt to the bank for a LONG time. And I don't want to go to Morehead because that college doesn't offer film, and I'd have to change my major. So do I go to Morehead so that way I am not in debt--even though I'll have to change my major, or do I go to Bowling Green because thats what I want to do in my heart--even though I'll be in debt and disappoint my dad? ~*~MoonyBella~*~ Answer: Thats a tough decision, but I am kind of in the same boat. My dad wants me to be a dental asistant or some junk like that, and I want to go to college in Cali to become a rich and famous designer. So what should we do? My answer is this, talk to you dad and compromise. Maybe he'll pay the 5,000 he would pay for you to go to Morehead, if you pay the 6,000 or whatever to go to Bowling. Yeah, you'll still be in debt, but not as much. Or maybe there is another school for less money that is closer that offers something good too. (You're smart though, I'm sure you checked into that.) I thnk whatever you you want to do would not be a waste of time, because YOU would be putting YOUR heart and soul into it, not him. Hope I have been of some help. | January 7th, 2k2 Question:Whats the first step in becoming hermit? Loneliness is not working for me! ~*~In the Half Shell~*~ Answer: Ah, hermit life. The first step in hermit life is to get rid of your cell phone (which your mother already tried to do for you) and not worry about the rest of the world. The rest, well, it takes discpline to give up on everyone else and not to miss them. But really, if hermit life is the way you think you should go, go right ahead and drive your cavalier into the mountains where you have your unibomber hut and maybe drop me a line or something...hehe. *~*RockStar*~* |
| January 7th, 2k2 Question: Which college should I pick? ~*~Carrie~*~ Answer: Uh......one in california so you can be close to me. It depends on what you want to do, Ms. Carrie Jane. I know you wanted to go to Western, but then you'd have to deal with TDWB....hehe, they're not bad, I swear. So one of the two. Just remember I love you...hey, I rhyme!! *~*RockStar*~* |
