Sense Force The honored and reveared Jedi Council has deemed you worthy to recieve training in the ways of the Force from me. From this day forward I am your teacher, instructor, mentor, and Master in the ways and instructions of the Force. Congraduations on the honor of being selected, you will learn more in your first few weeks than you have in entire life. Sit down and relax. We begin immediately starting with the basics of the Jedi philosophy, religion, and culture. We start with what exactly the force is to get you in the mind set so you will be able to see it, feel it, touch it, and smell it. From the depths of the universe it came, Life, and with life there came beauty. As Life grew, it diversified. Vast energy grew with life, fed by both beauty and ugliness of life, thriving, growing and evolving. As life blossomed and grew ever more sophisticated, so the energy grew, becoming more defined and distinct. This energy field permeates everything living thing throughout the galaxy. It is created by life and a few special beings in the galaxy can feel its essence and flow. This energy surrounds and penetrates us, binding the galaxy together. The Light is a pure form of the Force intimately bound with the essence of life itself. The lights is peace, harmony and knowledge and those who follow the Light use it for only these things. The Light is nurtured and draws strength from the diversity of life, thriving where there is serenity and accord. Those emotions which enhance its flow and tap into its vast reserves of strength and peace. Patience, humility and self sacrifice are paths to enlightenment. The Force is constant. It cannot be destroyed, it can only be forced to change forms. Everyone lives within that flow of life, within the Force. They live in the cycle of life. Certain beings possess a sensitivity to that energy field, we call these sentient beings Force Sensitives, a being who has the potential to use the Force who may or may not have received any training. As they learn to use that special sensitivity we call them Force Users. Certain lore of how this works has been lost over the years, especially during the great purge led by Emperor Palpatine. Through his efforts most of the accumulated knowledge through the generations about the Force was lost, but not to all. There is a certain science behind the strange effects that we can produce. Midichlorians are a symbiont being that exists in all living things, they speak to us telling us the will of the Force. Through the Midichlorians certain trained sentients beings are able to produce effects called Force powers. Through training and practice this power will be opened to you, for that I must teach you how to open yourself to the power that you have possess all your lifetime. To feel the Force flowing through you, you must be an open conduit through which the Force may flow. A jedi must be at Peace, Serene, Calm, and in perfect Harmony with life and himself. By doing this, you cleanse the environment of negative influences. From this point, I like to close my eyes or simply shut out the chaos of the world around me, and feel the energy radiate from my body and move around me. Relaxing and feel the energy flowing through you then concentrating, you focus your energy on either a mental or physical object of your choosing. Not necessarily to move it, but to feel the connection through this object. Continue focusing on this object and the energy around it till you can see its energy. Maintaining that "image" of the object and a focus on the energy permeating all life a Jedi can sense the distribution and nature of the flowing Force around them and in the galaxy. By harnessing the energy around them and by being in harmony with this energy a Jedi possesses the power to see beyond the capabilties of the eye, into a way that can guide your every action and instinct, with an un-natural graceful fluidity. *Attaining a deep sense of peace and serenity Lance patiently stood by with an overwhelming posture of harmony guiding his movements, words and gestures.* Close your eyes and repeat after me... There is no emotion; there is peace There is no ignorance; there is knowledge There is no passion there is serenity There is no death; there is the Force As you sit with you eyes closed focus on your breathing, keep it slow and even. Shut everything out, keep you mind focused on the words. As I speak do not focus on my words, keep your mind focused on the chant. There is no emotion; there is peace. A Jedi does not allow their emotions to rule over them; this is because a Jedi does not let them interfere with their judgement. Emotions both good and bad can cloud their perceptions; this hinders their ability to understand what is happening. There is no ignorance; there is knowledge. There is learning to be done constantly, it is a progressive process. A jedi seeks the truth, not the lies, to see past the illusions to what is really there. Seeing past the falsehood of ignorance. There is no passion there is serenity. Through seeing past the inner illusions and falsehood, a Jedi finds serenity. Their inner peace. A Jedi is calm, passive, at peace with themselves. The first struggle the Jedi will face is with themselves. A Jedi must find their peace with life. There is no death; there is the Force. The Force surrounds us, binds us, and penetrates us. Life is constant. It cannot be destroyed, it can only be forced to change forms. A Jedi lives within the flow of life, with the Force. They live in the cycle of life. Remember, you are part of the universe connected through the Force just as the Force is a part of you. As your mind begins to wander follow your instincts, don't let your mind guide you, let the Force be your guide. Just as it guides your actions. Go, let the Force take you where it wills...
