| Original type 2 fur lined parka and a reproduction type 2 parka made out of post war material. Can you tell the difference? I won't even mention all the "shortcuts" taken by the maker of the reproduction parka! OK, I will! The arm pit vents were omitted as was the storm flap on the front opening. The "fur" used was way too nice. Originals were made from a combination of rabbit, fox, and wolf or entirely made out of sheep shearling. About the only real nice thing about the reproduction is the arm construction. It had a very nice and exact rayon material for the wind gusset inside the sleeve. I don't think I even need to explain which is which. | ||||||||||

| Original material trousers & post war material trousers. I think the same goes for these. The differences are clear to see. Notice the consistant fading on the original material as compared to the post war. Also the blueish hue to the post war green and the rust color of the brown just screams POST WAR ITALIAN CAMOUFLAGE!!!! | ||||||||||
