Welcome To Spitz's Planetology Primer and World-Building Site
It tends to be a long while between edits of this page.  Life has a way of interfering with one's hobbies.
I keep trying as time allows.

Science and science fiction- especially SF roleplaying games- have long been a passion of mine.  I'm especially interested in world-building, the creation of imaginary but realistic planets and planetary systems, and I like to do it using the best science information currently available.  That is what this site is all about- among its pages you will find reference material that I have collected over the years (decades now!) and a series of essays and helpful hints for those who are interested in realistic world-building and roleplaying.

I would like to give special thanks to Tom Morris of Fullerton College for some great correspondance, and for the information and inspiration provided by his
Planetary Biology site.
Devoted to good science and good science fiction.  Who says you can't have both?
