It's everywhere. You can't read a magazine, newspaper or turn on a television set without bumping into physics, tarot card readers, 'magic' rune stones , crystals, symbols or objects, physic healers...something or other! so what's with all the mysticism? It's been around throughout history, with supposed reported cases, so could there be something to it? Science has accepted the possibility, and for years now have been seriously studying this field, but so far nothing concrete. Although I am somewhat skeptical and don't believe it's as common as we're meant to think, if at all, I do feel that there is definitely more about the human mind beyond the physical. Some call it "psi" and others, including me, call it "instinct" or "sixth sense", an acute awareness of all that is around you. I'm sure most of us can recall an instance where we just 'knew' or had a 'gut feeling'. Maybe even an event where you were conscientiously aware and yet time seemed to stand still or slow down for a moment. Most people have lost the
ability to use this 'sixth sense' at will, I believe, because of
lack of 'spiritual' discipline (quest for materialism and immediate
gratifications) and technologies that have reduced the need for it. However, I think
that if we were to focus inwards by being more aware we could retrain
our minds and reacquire a suppressed trait. We just might surprise
