Yup, that's the place.  Good ol' MTU.  You can check out the home page, or see what I have to put up with in my curriculum; Chemical Engineering, with a minor in Economics.  Figure out how I put those two together... good luck.  I really do like it up here though.  Houghton is a great place to live, and the people are the best.  Not to mention this is one of the best engineering schools around, especially when it comes to getting a job and making lots of money when you graduate.

I live on campus, in
Douglass Houghton Hall. I like it here in DHH; it's a nice place.  The building was built in the 30's, and it still retains a lot of character.  Many of my friends also live here, so it's nice to be able to walk down the hall and visit anytime.  My best friend used to live right across the hall, and we got in a lot of trouble for shouting at each other during quiet hours.  Needless to say, we end up spending a lot of time in each other's rooms.  The food here isn't even always bad.  I can usually find something to eat in the caf.  If not there, the Campus Cafe in Wadsworth Hall has really good grilled cheese.

Well summer has come to the Copper Country.  I'm home for the summer, but it was hard leaving the beautiful country up there.  Grand Rapids just isn't the same.  The last weekend after finals we couldn't find any more snow on the ground, but that was the first time.  Just a week prior, the first weekend in May, there was still a few inches in the woods.  The students who go home for the summers are lucky enough to miss black fly season, and for that I must say I'm grateful.
