Pictures and captions of the restoration of my 1965 Mustang Fastback
Originally delivered to Bob Chapman Ford in Plain City, Ohio, I am the fourth owner of this pony.
The original owner purchased the car and drove it for several years until a drunk driver hit a light pole, which fell across the roof. The car was damaged and sat, unused for 13 years.
The second owner bought the car and moved it to Dallas where he restored it for quick resale.
The third owner was a high school stundent who drove the car very little in his 3 years of ownership.
I bought the car in 1999 in Winnsboro, Tx. At that time the car had 52,000 miles on the odometer. Used as a daily driver for 3 years, the car was retired for a thorough restoration with 101,000 miles on it. |
