Will of William West,, Parish of Dale, Chesterfield, VA

In the Name of God amen.  I William West of the county of Chesterfield &
Parish of Dale do make & ordain this my last Will & Testament & do dispose
of all my worldly good in manner & form as follows Viz.
ITEM  I leave unto my loving wife Ann all my whole Estate both real & 
personal as long as she lives my widow for the support of herself & 
children and if it shall so happen that she shall marry then I give her a 
child�s part to her & her heirs forever.
ITEM  I give all my Estate both real & personal at the marriage or death of 
my wife to be equally divided among my six children their names as follows.
William, Robert, Anthony, Thomas, Mary, & Ann to them & their heirs forever 
& that if either of my children die before they arrive to lawful age or 
marry then their part or parts to be divided as before directed.
I also constitute & appoint Jesse Cogbilb Thomas Batte Jun & Thomas 
Batte Sen. my Escors. to this my last Will & Testament revoking all other 
Wills have before me made as Witnefs my hand & seal this twelfth Day of 
October one thousand seven hundred eighty & three
