Introduction:
Animals are amazing creatures. There are mammals, reptiles, birds, amphibians, fish and insects. They are all unique yet are mysterious in their own way? These creatures all have their own habitat, foods that they eat, places or homes where they live, and special body coverings. Detective Kirk Agency is looking for a student to work in the agency on a special animal project. You have been asked to work as a junior detective on this project. You have been asked to look for clues and facts about the animal of your choice in your search as you prepare to present your findings to the class.

Task:
Your job as a junior dectective is to chose an animal to reseach. You will keep track of your clues in your Mystery Journal notebook that would help to identify your 'special' animal. You will need information on that animal, what your animal eats, where it lives (habitat), what it looks like and at least other 3 interesting facts about your animal. You will then make two Power Point slides about your animal to share and present to the class as they try to guess what your animal is. The last slide will include a picture of your mystery animal. You may work by yourself or with a partner. The Kirk Detective Agency will then grade your project to see if you qualify to be a real junior detective for their agency.
