From the President:
Hello
Ladies,
What a month this is going to be!! First of
all, for those of you who were aware that my mother was in the hospital, thank
you so much for yopur cards, thoughts and visits. As you can imagine, my time with
the guild is going to be very restrained. My mother is in for the long haul.
Regarding
the Fall Festival Guild Committee, Deanna is just a little fireball. Committee
people doing their jobs and everything is falling into line. A special thanks to all of you who are
responding to Pat Pillard’s calls for
signups. Applause, applause.
Thank you,
Thank you Thank you to Sylvia Martin, Dale Manning and Pat Sparks. With almost
all of my time being at the hopsital, they took things into hand and have
already finished the Fall library wall hanging and with the help of others they
will proceed with the
There is
just one wall hanging left for the library and that is : Winter. Any kind of
winter scene, colors, Christmas, etc.
Once again
Slyvia was called from Sew Many Quilts to come and get more material. Theyt are
already cut into blocks. She’ll bring them to our next meeting. I think we’re
going to need a committee to make some decisions about how to best put all
these wonderful donations from Zella to uise.
Hear ye,
Hear ye wonderful quilt guild members!!! It’s time to step up to the plate. Pat
Pillard (chairman), Pat Sparks, and Roberta Vanderburg will be approaching you
to see who wants to serve on our Board next year. Without a strong, active board, iot’s very
difficult to grow and accomplish all these fantastic things we’re doing. It
takes leadership ladies….come on…be a part of that leadership. See you at our
Fall Festival Quilt Show with bells on…your president
