| Back in 1979, a photo was taken of me on Christmas in the early morning.. . and it wasn't until much later that I really looked at this photo. I was rehab'ing over reconstructive knee surgery in this photo. I decided to draw the feelings out of the photograph. The leafy background was the bog I was going through in the present day - a few close acquaintances had chemical dependency issues and had the inability to cope in a 3-D world. One in particular, who had broken my knee all over again. |
