Welcome to Season One of my own personal Star Trek Episode Guide, TOS (The Original Series) version. Here you find the unprecedented rebirth of a show billed as "too cerebral" by network boneheads a year earlier (The Cage) and the introduction of all but two of the characters we came to love over the years: Spock, who was actually the only survivor of the original cast in the first pilot, and Chekov, who joined the crew of the Enterprise in Season Two.
Below, you'll find an episode list for Season One, in production run order as opposed to chronological by star date (as not quite every episode has one) or original broadcast date (as this was often at the whim of the aforementioned network boneheads in most cases. Each episode title will, eventually, link to the write up for that episode. No link, no write up yet. Patience.
The write up will contain episode credits, a plot summary, a review, a rating, and maybe some notes, observations, and/or a bit of ranting as I see fit for the episode in question. Length will vary. As always, feel free to comment. I may even respond.
