Œ Suzuki Savage LS400pŒ

Just a few photographs (JPeG) and a short video (392k MPeG) showing  my  SuperTrapp installation.

I purchased my 1993 Savage here in Japan in May 2000 with only 4900km on it. From what I understand -is that until recently it was difficult to obtain a motorcycle license in Japan for motorcycles above 400cc (harder test), so Suzuki Japan included the LS400 in their product line only here in Japan, New Zealand and Australia. I don't know why they decided to make it chain driven; perhaps only to make it that much more "different" than the LS650. Unfortunately, the Savages are no longer available in Japan as their popularity decreased. The most popular type here are the sport bikes. I suppose those do lend themselves better to weaving in and out of the traffic here. The laid-back style of the Savage including "choppers" are often called "American style*" by the Japanese.
