| * A student must have a pass at all times when in the hallway, except for changing classes. * A student must sign in and out when leaving the classroom. * A student must be on time for class. * All student must be prepared for class. No one will be allowed back to their locker during class time. * All students must use the bathroom on the floor in which their current class is located. * All textbooks must be covered at all times. * All binders must be neat and organized at all times. * It is the student's responsibility to request and make-up any work missed while they were absent from school due to illness, vacation or any other reasons. * All students must inform their teacher if they are missing a class for band lessons. It is also the student's responsiblity to get the classwork and homework assignments and hand them in the next day. THE TEACHERS WILL NOT REMIND YOU! BLUE BOOK * A student will sign the Blue Book for any unacceptable behavior such as, but not limited to, the following: running in the halls, inappropriate comments, talking during class, being late for class, going to their locker when not allowed, tests and quizzes are not returned on time, general rude behavior, or anything the teacher feels is inappropriate or unacceptable behavior. If a behavior continues and a teacher feels the parent should be notified, you will sign the Blue Book as well as receive a "Stop and Think" to be signed by a parent. PAD * PAD stands for Positive Approach to Discipline. Each month, the Team S teachers plan an activity for those students who have demonstrated good behavior and work ethic. Some months the activity may be smaller, while once per marking period it may be bigger, such as rollerstaking or bowling. Since this is a reward, students who are involved in unacceptable behavior, such as those listed below, will not participate in PAD for that month. LOSS OF PAD CAN RESULT IF: * Your name is in a teacher's Blue Book 3 times. * Your name is left by a substitute teacher for any reason while the teacher is absent. * You have had significant late or missing homework assignments, at each teacher's discretion. * You receive a school bus misconduct notice or are kicked off the bus for any reason. * You are disciplined in the cafeteria by an administrator for misconduct. * You are suspended from school. This includes in-school suspension as well as out-of-school. * You receive a detention. This includes before-school, after-school or lunch detentions. * You receive adminstrative punishment for misconduct. * If an administrator gives you a consequence for misconduct, you will AUTOMATICALLY be removed from PAD for that month. Remember what PAD is -- a reward for good behavior and work ethic. If you did something to result in discipline from an administrator, then how can we reward you for good behavior? |
