General Rules for Reports in Social Studies
All reports should include the following:
1.  A Cover
        *  Title should be neatly colored.
        *  Use bubble-lettering or stencils.
        *  You may also use the computer to design a cover.

        *  Include:  Name, date and period.
        *  Should be written neatly or typed.
        *  Put in the lower right hand corner.

        *  Include a picture or illustration.
        *  Illustrations should be neatly drawn and colored.
2.  Report
                TYPED
     *  2 complete pages TYPED!
     *  Do not put the title on this page.
     *  Font = Size 12 Times New Roman
     *  Black ink
     *  Double-spaced
     *  Do not type on the back of the paper!
                  HANDWRITTEN
      *  Must be handwritten...NOT PRINTED!
      *  Handwritten reports should be at least 3 pages!
      *  Use black or blue pen. (NO PENCIL ALLOWED)
      *  Do not write on the back of the paper.
YOU CAN NOT COPY MORE THAN 5 WORDS IN A ROW OR IT IS PLAGIARISM!
3.  Works Cited (Bibliography)
   *  You need 3 sources and must use at least 2 books.
   *   You can either use the internet or an encyclopedia plus another book.
4.  Rough Draft
    * Must be written out on lined paper.
    * Attach to your report.
5.  Internet Research
   *  Attach all internet research to the back of your report.
6.  Notecards
   * You must have notecards for each section of the outline.
    * DO NOT ATTACH THESE TO REPORT!
