Kindness and Justice Results
The students did a fantastic job with the Martin Luther King Kindness and Justice Project.  Way to go Team S!!
1,300 canned goods were collected and delivered to Roxbury Social Services.  A total of 44 students participated in collecting the canned goods from family, friends and neighbors.
Eight bags full of clothing and toys were collected and delivered to Roxbury Social Services.  A total of 8 students participated in collecting and donating the clothing and toys.
A total of 5 students volunteered their time at a soup kitchen.  These students helped to prepare meals and serve them to those in need.
A total of 19 students visited a nursing home for 30 minutes or more.  The students played Bingo, read books and talked with the residents.
A total of 5 students baked goods and brought them to a nursing home for the residents to enjoy.
Two students visited an assisted living facility to visit with guests and brighten their day.
Two students volunteered at a daycare to help with the children and to play with them.
One student visited a group home for 30 minutes to talk with residents.
A total of 5 students created homemade Valentine cards that will be sent to Veterans Hospital in Lyons, NJ.
A total of 6 students volunteered to help a sick or elderly neighbor.  The students helped with cleaning, shoveling, and other chores.
