Jewish Fables

By John Yoakum

Gal. 1:19

As we said before, so I say now again. If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

What has happened to Christianity today? Why have we turned from the faith of our fathers? What ever happens to believing what the apostles have told us to be true? Which happens to be the same things Jesus our Lord and Christ has told us to be true. Christianity has fallen slave to the doctrines of the devil. Christianity has forgotten that Jesus is the Messiah. But when we call Jesus the Christ, do we really mean it. Christ came into this world to be Saviour and King, and by all means he fulfilled it.

Because of the nature of this subject, and how over sensitive people are about the Jews, let me make it very clear, I AM NOT ANTI-SEMETIC. I believe that the Bible is very clear that the unbelieving Jew is a child of the devil. The only true people of God are the Christians. What does Christ have to say on this manner." They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them. If you were Abrahams children, ye would do the works of Abraham. But now you seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. You do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, we be not born of fornication; we have one father even God. Jesus said unto them. If God were your father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. Why do you not understand my speech? even because ye can not hear my word. YE ARE OF YOUR FATHER THE DEVIL"... JOHN 8:39-44. I feel that it's not too hard to figure out why Jesus calls them children of the devil.

They were called the children of the devil because they did not believe that Jesus was who .he said he was. Saviour, Lord, and Messiah. Judaism has entered into the true teachings of Christianity. Or in other words, Christianity has turned into Judaism. There is no place in the New Testament that teaches that the hell bound unbelieving Jew is one of God's chosen people. If a person is Jewish, Greek Spanish, or any other nationality, it makes absolutely no difference to God. God is not a God of ethnic background.

As you read through the Gospels, the message Jesus keeps giving to the Jews is that the Kingdom they're looking for is a spiritual Kingdom, not a physical kingdom. Examples of that are in John 18: 36-37, Ro. 14:17, 1 Cor. 4:20 and Col. 1:13. Christians need to get their focus off the Jews and on Christ.

One of the biggest projects going on today, which involves Christians, is the Zionist movement. Zionism is EVIL, it is of the DEVIL. And the shameful part of it all is, that the Christians are the most active in it. Now without going into a deep study of Judaism, we could deduct that they deny that Jesus is the Christ. The word of God is very specific on those who deny that Jesus is the Christ. "Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, HATH NOT GOD. He that abideth in the doctrine, of Christ, HE HATH BOTH THE FATHER AND THE SON. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, RECEIVE HIM NOT INTO YOUR HOUSE, NEITHER BID HIM GOD SPEED. For he that bideth him God speed is PARTAKER OF HIS EVIL DEEDS." 2 John 9-11.

I'm sure many people could argue all day on exactly what God speed is. But one thing is sure, spending money to help build new settlements, which happens to be land the Jews have stolen, and supporting the antichrist movement called Zionism is without a shadow of a doubt, biding God speed.

Do you honestly think that God's chosen people would also be defined as antichrist in the Bible. Look at 1 John 2: 22-23," Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ, He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: but he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father". Not only does the unbelieving Jew have the title of antichrist and liar, he also doesn't have God. We are constantly warned not to give heed to the Judaizers, because their doctrine is a false one. Like the apostle Paul said "let them be accursed" (Gal. 1: 8 and).

What is Zionism? Webster defines Zionism as: 1. A plan or movement of the Jewish people to return from the diaspora to Palestine. 2. A movement originally aimed at the re-establishment of a Jewish national homeland and state in Palestine and now concerned with development of Israel.

One of the biggest news stories today is that Zionist movement. This movement has left many people without homes and security. This movement doesn't care about anyone else but those that benefit from it. The Jews took that land by force and out of pure greed, so that they could continue to build their empire. But don't get in their way, they don't care who is in their path. Thousands upon thousands of Jews have been pouring into the new state of Israel daily. They are using these Jews that keep pouring in from all around the world as an excuse to promote Zionism as a just cause.

But have you ever asked the question, who is a Jew? What makes someone a Jew? Well, as far as they are concerned, if you have any Jewish blood in your heritage, or if you convert to the religion of Judaism, and will promote Zionism you are a Jew. Under the old Jewish custom, if your mother was Jewish, you were considered a Jew. Now as of recent days, the new custom also says if your father was a Jew, you are Jewish. This has even sparked a debate among many Orthodox Jews. You see, the truth is that there is no pure Jews left. No Jew can trace his heritage back too far without finding a Gentile in there somewhere.

Who does God call a Jew? What are Gods requirements to be a Jew? Ro. 2:28-29 "For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God". Now we

can see that the Bible is very clear that it is your faith that makes you a Jew. I'm sure you're wondering, how can I be a Jew if I am a Gentile? I have just shown you that it is your inward faith that makes you a true Jew, but what faith is that?

We know that the only way to be a Jew according to the flesh, is to be in the bloodline of Abraham. Now according to God the only way to be in the true bloodline of Abraham is to believe in Christ. Gal. 3: 29. "And if ye be Christ's then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise". Now I've shown you that God calls the person who believes in Christ a true Jew and the seed of Abraham.

Those who call themselves the seed of Abraham today, and could trace their roots back to Abraham, are not his seed according to the Bible. There is only one seed of Abraham. Gal. 3: 16 - "Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not. And to Seeds, as of many: but as of one, AND TO THY SEED, WHICH IS CHRIST'. The Bible is very clear in telling us that there is only one seed of Abraham, being Christ, and believing in Christ makes you Abrham's seed and a true Jew.

Now we know that those Jews involved in the Zionist movement say they have a Biblical right to the land which they have stolen. Well it is true that God promised the Jews in the Old Testament that he would give them that land and that they would have it forever. Did God give them the land he had promised them. Joshua 21: 43-45 - "And the Lord gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein. And the Lord gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the Lord delivered all their enemies into their hand. There failed not ought of any good thing which the Lord had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass".

Now we know that God gave the Jews the land. But what happened? Why don't the Jews have the land now? Deuteronomy 30: 16-18. "In that I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep his commandments and statutes and his judgements, that thou mayest live and multiply; and the Lord thy God shall bless thee whither thou goest to possess it. But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shall be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them; I denouce you unto this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, wither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it".

The Jews were told that keeping the land was based on the conditions that the Lord gave them. And that is why to this day they do not possess the land. God has denounced them. And until they see the truth that Jesus is the Saviour, Lord, and Christ, they will always be denouced by God. As Jesus said himself; I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE; NO MAN COMETH TO THE FATHER, BUT BY ME.

Another of the many Jewish fables is the well known and popular, but not in the Bible, SEVEN YEAR TRIBULATION!!!!!!!. But of course, and convenient, is the other fable that Christians won't be here for any of it. And that the Jews will be restored back to their land in unbelief, and that is when antichrist will be revealed. Using the Bible, it is not too hard to show that none of this is true. First let us look at the seven years. The seven year period that they talk about is in the book of Daniel Chapt. 9. Starting in vs. 24 and finishing in vs. 27 is the prophecy they speak of.

But if you read the prophecy the way it is written, it is a prophecy of 70 weeks (490 yrs.). There is in this prophecy, no mention of anything but a 70 week period. Those who proclaim that there is a 7 year tribulation period in here, say the 70th week has been put on hold, and that 70th week is the 7 year tribulation period. It is true that there is a 70th week in there, but thats only because it is a 70 week prophecy. There is no place in

this prophecy where the 70th week is postponed. And when you say that there is, you are calling God a liar, and saying he forgot to put that part in. On top of that there is no place in the Bible that speaks of The Great Tribulation. There are three places in the Bible that talk about great tribulation. Matt. 24:21, Rev. 2: 22, and Rev. 7:14. These areas of scripture talk about great tribulation, but not about the fabled Great Tribulation Period.

Now what about antichrist? Will Christians be here when antichrist is revealed? Let us look at 2 Thes. 2: 1-3, Paul is talking to the Christians at Thessalonica. He says, "Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, that you be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition". Now we see by this that Paul is telling these Christians to keep their composure, and not to think that the rapture could happened at just anytime. He tells them that there must be the apostasy, and antichrist must be revealed.

What about the restoration of the Jews? There is no place in the New Testament that says they will be restored.

However, there are some verses used to say they are going to be restored. The most popular of these scriptures is Ro. 11: 25-26. "For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceit; that blindness in part has happen to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. And SO all Israel should be saved: as it is written, and there shall come out of Sion the deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob".

The first point to be made is about the word SO. If you look up in your concordance, and you know your grammer, the word SO means; In this way. In this manner. In other words , when the fulness of the Gentiles has come in, that is the rest of Israel, and at that point all Israel is saved. And if you take a look at Gal. 6:16, Christians are called the Israel of God. And even if you were to take that verse to mean the Israel in the flesh, then you have to realize that it is saying they will be saved, not restored. Now as far as their bing saved, if you look at Ro. 10:1, Paul says that his hearts desire is that Israel would be saved. Do you think Paul forgot they were going get saved in chapter 10, and then remembered that they are going to in chapter II?

Another area of scripture used to show that the Jews will be restored is Mat. chapter 24. In Mat. 24:31 it talks about how God is going to gather his elect together when Christ returns. It is important to realize that the New Testament calls Christians the elect, and not unbelieving Jews. And if you want to say that its talking about believing Jews, then in other words, your saying the same thing I am, it is talking about Christians. Except that its talking about all Christians, Jew or Gentile.

Now as far as all the Old Testament scripture referring to the restoration of the Jews, you need to consider, and find out when they were written. Then compare that to the areas of scripture when they were restored, and you will find that many restoration prophecies have already been fulfilled. But what about the ones that haven't been fulfilled. Now remember, the New Testament interprets the Old Testament. And the New Testament calls Christians Israel. There will be many that say you need to interpret the restoration scripture literally. But according to them, you are supposed to take Israel literally, and Babylon, Gog, Magog, and other places and people that don't exist today in a symbolic manner.

That is not very consistent or literal, but pretty convenient. The literal way to interpret those areas of scripture is in a symbolic manner, because that is the way they were intended to be interpreted.

There is also one major fact that needs to be realized. It is that no matter how Ultra Orthodox a Jew is he does not even know how to understand the Old Testament, if he is not saved. And if he is saved, he is not an Ultra Orthodox Jew, but a Christian. If someone tells you that an Orthodox Jew has interpreted some Old Testament prophecy, show that person 2 Cor. 3: 13-16, which states "And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not steadfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the Old Testament; which vail is done away with in Christ. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away".

I'd like to give an example of an Old Testament prophecy that was fulfilled at the cross, but many have put to the future because it destroys their plans for the Jews if it has been fulfilled. Zee. 12:10 says "And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn".

Now compare this with John 19: 34-37 "But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water. And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe. For these things were done, THAT THE SCRIPTURE SHOULD BE FULFILLED, A bone of him shall not be broken. And again another scripture saith, THEY SHALL LOOK ON HIM WHOM THEY PIERCED".

Zee. 12:10 is the only place in the Bible where that scripture is mentioned before Christ died on the cross. And the only other time is in Revelation 1:7. So it is very clear that we are told that this scripture has been fulfilled.

What about John the Baptist? Did John the Baptist fulfill the prophecy concerning Elias (New Testament name for Elijah)? Let us see what Jesus had to say on this matter. Mat. 17: 10-13 "And his disciples ask him. Why say then the scribes that Elias must come first? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things. But I say unto you, that Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of Man suffer of them. Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of JOHN THE BAPTIST'. And if you look at Mark 9: 11-13 you will see that it says the same thing.

Now if we look at John 1:21, John himself seems to have a different answer. "And they ask him. What then? Art thou Elias? And he saith I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered no." If we look at The Old Testament prophecy concerning Elijah, and look at Luke chapter 1 we will get our answer. Malachi 4: 5-6 "Behold I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to the fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse". Now if we take a look at Luke 1:1-15, you will see that it is talking about the birth of John the Baptist. Take a look at vs. 16-17 "And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God. And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord".

Why could have John answered no, and still fulfill that prophecy? Because lie

came in the spirit and power of Elias, and most important of all is the fact that Jesus said he did. If the Lord said it is fulfilled, then we must believe it.

Everything that has been mentioned so far leads us to the biggest of Jewish Fables. The Kingdom of Heaven, which by the way is also called the Kingdom of God. The two are one and the same. Now those who claim to hold to the literal method of interpretation say that after THE GREAT TRIBULATION Christ will set up his kingdom and sit on David's throne, in which the Jews will rule. If we go back to the first of the kingdom promises in 2 Sam. Chapt. 7, we will see an obvious flaw in that plan.

2 Sam. 7:12 tells us that the kingdom will be set up when David is dead. "And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom for ever".

Now we see as far as their timing, the kingdom can't be set up after David has been raptured, he's obviously not very dead now is he. The question is, has God's word told us if the kingdom is in the future, or was that fulfilled at the cross? If we take a look at Acts 1:6-8, that question is put to Christ. "When they were therefore come together, they ask of him, saying. Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? And he said unto them, it is not for you to know the times or the sea-sons, which the father hath put in his own power. But you shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and in Samaria, and the uttermost part of the earth". In response to their question, Christ tells them that at this time they don't understand when the kingdom is to be restored, but when the Holy Ghost comes, they will understand.

Now in Acts chapt. 2, we see that the Holy Ghost has come, and Peter, being filled with the Spirit, answers the question about when Christ would sit on David's throne and rule for ever. Look at Acts 2:29-31 "Men and brethren, let me speak freely unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepuchre is with us unto this day. Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne: He seeing this before spake of the RESURRECTION OF CHRIST, that his soul was not left in hell, neither did his flesh see corruption".

We now have our answer. When Christ was resurrected, he was out on David's throne, and rules his spiritual kingdom. What we should also notice is, why is Peter telling them that David is dead and buried? Everyone already knew that, David had been dead for a long time. But if you remember 2 Sam. 7:12, which said the kingdom would be set up when he was dead, shows us that resurrection fulfilled that prophecy,.

Another flaw in this so called literal method is that they say the thousand years talked about in Rev. 20 is to be taken to mean a literal thousand years, and that literal thousand years is when Christ will sit on David's throne in Jerusalem. And they say that Rev. chapt. 20 is to be matched up with all the Old Testament passages talking about the same kingdom, except that the Old Testament passages say the kingdom is forever, not a thousand years. So it is pretty obvious that you can't take both time periods so literally. And when you consider how symbolic the book of Revelation is, and the fact that this is a spiritual kingdom, and that we are in the kingdom with no end. So now we know that Christ sits on David's throne now, in a kingdom with no end.

Ro. 4:13-14 "For the promise, that he should be heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect.

Gal. 3: 16 - to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, and to seeds, as of many; but as of one, and to thy seed, which is Christ."

Gal. 3:7 - "Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham."

Gal. 3:9 - "So then, they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham."

Gal. 3: 29 - "And if you be Christ's" then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise."

Gal. 4:28 - "Now we, brethren as Isaac was, are the children of promise."

Eph. 2: 12 - "That at the time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers of the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world."

Eph. 2: 19 -"Now therefore ye are no more strrangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God."
