Interesting Letters
In our work as editor, on must try to maintain an equilibrium
which only God's wisdom and His Divine control can give over even such matters
as the mail we receive. A writer can be so bland that he never ruffles any
feathers, either toward fear or fierce opposition. The dogs of dogdom neither
growl nor wag their tails, if the scribe effectively is, "All things to
all men", as "courier of favour among all kinds of readers. But that
is not The Researcher's role. We wish we could graciously and inspirationally
minister to Christians in our confused world, that we could come to our
thousands of readers as one whom they perceive to be a welcome, loving helper,
who comes to take each by the hand to lead him or her into enchanting gardens
of fragrance and beauty, which they could not resist. The trouble is that human
perversity is such that too many Christians are already swooning in the
Enchanted Garden, of which John Bunyan speaks with solemn warning. They need
some shock treatment before the stupor of ignorance or deception is broken and
eyes are directed again to the mystery-charged words of Divine prophecy.
In order that prayerful friends may share more wisely
with us in understanding and prayers, we give herewith a few letters, that
represent more than one welcome point of view.

Dear Brother
Boyd:
Christian greetings in the Name of our Saviour Jesus Christ.
I do enjoy The Researcher, and also The Berean Ambassador.
As I was in Dr. Scofield Dispensationalism, for about
twenty-five years, but in the year 1947, a young minister gave me the booklet
"Why I left the Futurist School." And it gave me back my Bible.
Before that I was giving so much of the Bible to the Jews, and after the fourth
Chapter of the Book of the Revelation, from there to the nineteenth chapter, it
was all for the Jews. I would like you to send me if you can, ten copies of,
WHY I LEFT THE FUTURIST SCHOOL. Author T.H Salmon.
Find a cheque for fifty
dollars, take out the price of the books, and use the rest where most needed.
