A Good Report Of Useful Service

Once again at this time of the year we are rejoicing with a group of students who have successfully completed three years of intensive Bible study in our college. We are gathering tonight at a special banquet in honour of all the students but especially for twelve graduates.

For everyone of our graduating classes which are eight in number including this year, we have had the happy privilege of distributing your very fine publication titled The Researcher. I want you to know that we sincerely appreciate the bundle of magazines that you have been sending regularly. 1 have been encouraging the students upon graduation to subscribe personally so that they might continue to benefit from your fine editorial work.

There seems to be a trend nowadays for many Christians to avoid what may become controversial subjects in the Bible. All too many people waffle with the truth so that they will not make waves. We have taught students here at Pacific Bible College the high calling of seeking the truth which is every born-again child of God's privilege. Furthermore that each believer has the divine promise of special guidance into all truth. It is often said by some: "Who cares about prophetic truths concerning the future? I'm a panmillenialist. It will all pan out in the end." We know this attitude will undoubtedly avoid controversial arguments, but one with this frame of mind will also miss out on the privilege of being led by the Holy Spirit into a new and exciting aspect of the truth in God's Word. Your publication has been very helpful in stirring up the mind of studennts regarding the various topics related to Eschatology.

Once again I personally want to thank you and your staff for your labour of love in sharing your publication with others who in turn are dedicated to declare the whole counsel of God in their generation. Please find enclosed a token offering which I trust will help you to carry on your work.
