October Meeting Minutes
1. Ed discussed the Harvest Festival, it is free, did a sign up sheet for fellowship.
2. Ed is now able to get the list for the active members.
3. He will get a current list for us.
4. Jean will get the sheet cake, soda, and sherbert for the induction ceremony along with the white rose.
5. Kelly will meet with Russ for current inventory of items.
6. Lois will check with Natalie for a certificate template for Kelly by e-mail.
7. November 19th, 6pm is the Satallite seminar viewing we choice at Penn Valley. Still need to know what building, for the invitations to the high schools, and our members.
8. Our scholarship is listed in the schools gree district scholarship book, but as it is new it is not printed in there. You use the form inside, and simply write in the name of our scholarship,"Kappa Tau Leaders of Promise," before the 17th of October.
9. Discussed the removal of current officer of fundraising, and it was voted and approved. Will look for a new fundraising officer at next meeting in November.

11. Jessica paid Margaret for her medallion.
12. Do up the flyers for the upcoming Jewlery sale.
13. November 2nd Ed might not be available to run the monthly meeting, in which case Jean Kruse will do so.
14. Kim brought up that the maxium total for the Habitat event is 15.
15. Lois to send a link to the Butter Braids to the officers.
16. Butter Braids was discussed as a possible upcoming fundraising event, it was voted on, and approved.
17. New inductees and members were given a over view of the club by Ed during the general meeting, before ending the meeting and turning the group over to our guest speaker Jim McGraw.
18. Jim McGraw spoke of many different types of relaxation techniques, the possible causes, and items available on the campus for helping to deal with the stress.
19. Jean and Ed presented Jim with a thank you gift.
