Mango Sorbet:

Ingredients:
1 can (15 ounces) mangoes, drained and pureed
1/2 cup carbonated water
1/3 cup honey
1 tablespoon lime juice

Instructions:
In a medium bowl, combine the mango puree, water, honey and lime juice; mix until well-blended.
Transfer the mixture to an ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer's directions.
To serve, scoop into dessert bowls.

Walk to Cure Diabetes:       
 
    
The Walk to Cure Diabetes was a huge success.  The weather was perfect and as walkers, we could not have asked for a more picture perfect setting.  As you may know, the walk was held at the Kansas Speedway and for those of you who have never been to the speedway, it was an incredible experience!  We completed two laps around the track for a total of 3 miles.  There were 14 walkers total, and I would like to thank Kim and her family, Lois and John, Ed, and my family for participating.  We have raised over $450!  Kudos to all of you!
