| Online Discussion: 20 points each - 3 responses - Responses must answer the question or respond with original thoughts backed up with specific evidence from the novel and life. Total of 60 points Reductions: 30 points each - 3 reductions - Each must note major themes/motifs, the author and title; contain at least two quotes with reasons for significance; and at least three more choices from the list provided. Total of 90 points Marked Text: 20 points each - 3 texts - Text markings need to include at least notations of theme, motif, symbol, significant quotes, important descriptions of setting, examples of characterization, and personal points of interest.
