The Portfolio Management and Stock Selection Committee follows the timeline below to ensure that committee members have sufficient time to research and analyze companies. It also allows non-committee members time to review proposed stocks prior to each monthly meeting.
- By the first Monday following a club meeting, the senior member of the committee screens for prospective companies and assigns them to the other members of the committee for further research.
- By the second Saturday following the club meeting, the committee members review Stock Selection Guide (SSG) results and decide which companies to evaluate further using the Stock Selection Report (SSR).
- By the third Saturday following the club meeting, the committee members review SSR results and decide which companies to present to the club.
- By the Monday prior to the next club meeting, the senior committee member sends SSG files to all partners.
NOTE: The senior member of the committee is responsible for managing the process, coordinating all meetings and research, and copying the Assistant Presiding Partner on all research-related e-mails.
