Birthday: October 23, 1962

SINCE 1980: After La Reine, I went to college, got a degree and moved to Northern Virginia, where I worked in Old Town. A co-worker and friend introduced me to a Navy pilot named Matt, who was stationed at the Pentagon. We dated for several years and married in 1994. The day after our honeymoon, we moved to Boston, where Matt got his master*s degree while I worked at Harvard University. After that, the Navy took us to San Diego, where many major milestones took place. The best was the birth of our two sons, one in 1996 and the other in 1998. Unfortunately, when Matt returned from a six-month deployment, doctors discovered he had a brain tumor. He was medically retired from the Navy seven months ago. Everything is now stable and we just started our new civilian life back on the East Coast in Richmond, Va. We are anticipating the arrival of our third (and last*getting too old for this!) baby in March. 

HOW I SPEND MY DAYS: Taking care of my two little guys; still unpacking from our recent move across country; decorating our new home; resting and saving energy for the new baby!
