The pipe on top is made of Cherry Wood, but the rest are just good'ol Corn Cob Pipes. All of these are made by the Missouri Meerschaum Co. They are very inexpensive, but don't let that fool you. Many pipe smokers have realized over the years that a "Cob" is one of the coolest, and sweetest smokes you will ever have! | This is a Falcon Pipe. The idea behind these are that aluminum cools very fast. The thin tube in the center of the pipe allows the smoke to cool before reaching your mouth. The area below the bowl captures the residues. These are good for trying out new Tobaccos because of the interchangable bowls. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| These are two Captain Black Pipes that I sent after with the coupon on the inside of the Captain Black Tobacco pouch. These were advertised as having silver rings on the shank..When I got them, there was a apology note included saying they were out of the material to make the rings. | DR. Grabow!!! What can be said about these pipes that hasn't already been said. I purchased these pipes when I first started smoking. (Like many Pipe Smokers have) They are readily available at most Drug Stores. Cheap too!! | John T's is a national chain of Tobacco retailers. They sell Tobacco, Cigars, Smoking accessories, and unfortunately......There own brand of Pipes...Made by who knows!! (Calabrest?) These looked nice hanging on the wall in the store so I bought them. They weren't very expensive...I was very dissapointed in the way they smoked....Hence...They are in the Junk Drawer!! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| These Mastercraft Pipes are like DR. Grabows. You can find them in most Drug Stores and are good for the novice. The pipe on top is a great smoker. I have had many a bowl of Tobacco in that one! I no longer use these. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| A variety of pipes I have bought. The top pipe is a Chaccom Dynasty. It was a very tall bowl, so I TRIED to cut it shorter. BAD MISTAKE on my part. It ruined the pipe. Too Bad.. It was a good Pipe!!! The Derby Pigskin is actually wrapped in Pigskin. It is cool on the hands, but it doesn't smoke very well. The meerschaum lined pipe is a real good smoker and I have used it often. It is now retired to the Junk Drawer. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| These are some nice smoking pipes. The Absorba is a real nice smoker. I was suprised!! The Syncromatic used to be my favorite pipe, but unfortunately...The shank cracked. I couldn't get some of these to sit on the scanner bed very well...Sorry | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| These pipes are all great smokers. I just wish I knew who made them. The bottom pipe is marked "TIPA". I don't know if that is a brand name or a type of wood, but I enjoy smoking it. It is a very large pipe. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| These pipes were inherited from my Father-in-Law. I don't smoke them or even really like them. The bottom one is a Kirsten. There are no markings on the middle one. The top one has a "m" on the side of the stem. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| It is not my intent to ridicule or belittle any of the Pipe makers described on this page. I after all bought these pipes. Peoples opinions differ widely. I do not want to insult anyone. If you are a pipe smoker and enjoy any of the brands mentioned on this page, then good for you. It doesn't really matter what kind of pipe you smoke as long as you enjoy it!!! In my opinion...The right tobacco is the most important decision a pipe smoker can face. Even the best Castello Pipe can't help some tobaccos. On the other hand...Certain tobaccos can help any pipe!!
