Commencement Exercises were held in AFP Auditorium. It was a memorable event for me.This was the peak of glory for my academic days. Never have I been so popular in school until I was on top of this medical class. My parents and all of my relatives and close friends were so proud of me.
First photo was taken while we were waiting outside of the auditorium. Second photo while I received my diploma.

First photo I was being given Award for Academic Excellence (for being a scholar).
Second photo I was receiving my Revalida Merit Award
Third photo I was delivering my speech.

After the graduation, we started reviewing for the boards. I was offered a teaching job first at the Department of Biochemistry (actually my favorite subjects were Physiology and Gross Anatomy, but the administration wanted to put me in Biochem Dept. because the staff there knew well to be flexible with reviewees so as to get a good chance at the top. Yun ang akala nila sa akin! I passed the board, but my rating was several fraction of a point less than the tenth's. Sorry to disappoint my fans...(Well, a lot of my relatives and so-called friends were actually smirking upon finding out I did not make it to the top ten! I couldn't care less. I just wanted to pass the board and get on with doctor-ing.)
I had to register first with the PRC before the Oathtaking (of course!). Here are pics during the Oathtaking with my proud parents and Patrick. (Ben was still a baby then!). Now I was licensed to practice as a general practitioner! Considerations were moving upward via a residency training, preferably in OB-Gyn or Surgery. (Bakit ayaw mo IM? Sayang utak mo.!, some of my friends would say. Ayoko nga! Puro morbid ang cases!)
