This photo gallery contains various pictures I have taken while on vacation. Although I may have held the camera and clicked the shutter, my travel companions deserve credit for helping me to recognize pictures worth taking.
Most of my photography experience has been with an Canon 35mm SLR Camera, which was probably designed in the 1970s.
Recently, I've started using a Sony Cybershot Digital Camera. In my opinion, 35mm will always produce better pictures than digital, but digital is much more convenient.

For my Senior Project at San Jose State University, I designed and implemented a backup instrumentation system for civil aircraft based on the Global Positioning System (GPS). The project interfaced a laptop computer and a GPS receiver to provide a pilot with 6 virtual instruments: an altimeter, an airspeed indicator, a VOR receiver, an ADF receiver, a DME receiver, and a compass. The project also included a course tracker. Labview 4.0 Professional Edition was used to implement the instruments on the laptop.
