"Puertas de Sujeto"
Doors, Costa Rica 2000

This is a conceptual/environmental/performance art work which consisted in putting doors in the middle of a field and on mango trees, rotating them (as if to open or close them), and documenting the actions. The doors where created by our neighbor in Villa Colon, Mr. Victor Dominguez, better knows in town as "Sujeto", who at the time was making a living as a woodworker. The doors are now installed in my brother's house and Victor is living in New Jersey, USA. That's me on the top picture's foreground, my brother Max on the background, and Victor on the bottom picture to the left wearing a red shirt.
