Inside a garden grew, a lovely rose of pink
and everyday its dew, my heart would cause to tink.
From far away I'd watch, its petals in the sun
for they would shine and glow, in amber light of gold.
And then a day it came, the lovely flower's gone!
no longer will I dream, of waking to its dawn.
