"Can I ask you why you're not seeing him anymore?" "A.J.!!! Man, leave her alone!! She's eating for God's sake!" Nick said. "No....no it's ok...." I put my fork down; "See I was dating this guy named Mike, and he told me that he loved me sooooo much......but....while he was with me....he cheated on me with another girl.....and so....I just said to hell with him." "Good for you!! You deserve better than that....." Brian smiled at me, and took another drink of his beer. Saying all that, reminded me of all the good times we had together......and my eyes started welling up with tears.....; "Excuse me for a moment, I have to step outside....." I said sobbing. I ran out, and started crying. I looked up at the sky, and just prayed; "God....if you're there.....please find me someone to love me......for me....., and someone who will stay faithful to me......someone that will give me love, and compassion....and I'll return it to them, if they only love me for myself......" ~Nick's POV~ The guys got up from they're seats,.....; "No guys....I'll go after her." I got up, and walked out of the hall, to see Kristen standing on the rocks near the beach. "Hey...." "Hi...." she said, sniffing. "You ok??" I sat on the rock, that she was standing on. "No.....I'm not ok." she closed her eyes, and sighed. I watched her long brown hair, flow in the ocean breeze. "You wanna talk about it??" I looked up at her face, shining in the moonlight, as I saw a tear trickle down her cheek. "Hey...." I stood up; "None of that now......you have to be strong...." "I can't....I still love him Nick." she started to cry. "You'll be ok....." I wiped her tears away from her eyes. She sobbed. "Hey....c'mere." I hugged her, and she gripped my white suit coat. "I still love Mandy....but ya know what they say...." "What do they say?" she looked up at me. "Time heals all wounds." I smiled at her. "Yeah...." she sniffed; "You're right." she wiped her eyes. "Thanks Nick." she hugged me again. I wanted to hold her all night there.....something inside me was telling me that something was different about her..... I ignored, and shook off the feeling, and asked her to come back into the hall with me. "Ok.....make-up check??" she steped back. I looked at her; "You look beautiful as always." I smiled. "Thanks Nick." she smiled. "No problem babe." I put my arm around her, and she put her's around me, as we walked into the hall together. At the end of the party.....I asked if I could give Kristen a ride back to her hotel room. "Yeah.....might as well.....I told my limo driver to take the night off........I was gonna take a cab. "Oh......you can get yourself killed that way!!!!" "I know......but......oh well......I mean....I gotta be NORMAL ONCE AND AWHILE!!!!" she laughed. "Yeah......you're right." I laughed. We talked on the way back to her hotel...... "Well Nick....thanks for everything.......this sure has been an interesting night......." she sighed. "Yeah......" I smiled. "Well then....." "So......I.....guess I'll call you??" I held up her cell phone number. "Yea!! Oh yea!! Definatly call me!!!" "Ok.....I'll have some time off......so....maybe we can hang out or something?" "Yeah...." she smiled; "I'd like that......." "Ok.....so then I'll call you......." "Ok." "Can I have a hug before I leave??" I looked at her with puppy dog eyes.
