| Chapter 7 *Later* I was getting ready for my date with Ashley when the doorbell rang. I went to open and outside was Justin, crying. �Can I come in, please?� He asked. �Sure, what�s wrong, sweetie?� I asked concerned, pulling him inside. �Britney and me broke up.� He said, sobbing. I didn�t say anything, just placed my arms around him and held him tight. �I�m so sorry, sweetie, I really am.� I said. �I�m sorry for putting all of this on you, but my best friend is out of town for the weekend and you�re one of the nicest people I�ve ever met, so I wanted to talk to you. I�m sorry though, I know I must be ruining your plans. I better go.� Justin said. �No, it�s okay, really.� I said. I really wanted to go on that date with Ashley, but I also really wanted to be with Justin. �Damn. I can�t cancel on Ashley again. This may be my last chance.� I said to myself. I made a quick decision and called Ashley. �Yes?� He said, as he picked up the phone. �Ashley, hi, it�s Ann. I�m really, really sorry, but something came up, so I can�t leave the house. I was thinking that maybe you could come over here a little later and we could order some food and just chill here?� I asked, hoping he�d agree. �Yeah. Sure, no problem. When do you want me to come over?� He asked. �Umm, around 9?� I said. �Sure. Want me to bring some pizza�s or something?� He asked. I smiled. �Sure, that�d be great.� I said. Ashley softly laughed. �Alright. It�s a date then. I�ll see ya.� He said. �Yeah, bye.� I said and hung up. Justin and me walked into the living room and sat down. �Okay, tell me what happened.� I said, taking Justin�s hands and looking at him. �Well, umm� You know I went to Brit�s house today, right?� He said. I nodded. �Well, umm, just as I was arriving, another guy was leaving. So I asked Brit what the deal was and she basically threw at me that I was no good, I couldn�t satisfy her needs mentally or� sexually� that our relationship had always been a joke and that we only were together because of our parents.� Justin said, sobbing. �She said that? Oh my, what a nasty ho!� I said, hugging Justin. �I know. And it really hurt, ya know? �Cause she was the one always sleeping around� I mean, we only had sex like, three times, so how would she know?!� Justin yelled, angry. �Justin, don�t let it get to you. So what she said that? There�s a girl out there for you who won�t think that and who�ll love you for you.� I said, smiling a little to him. �Yeah, I guess you�re right. Thanks for cheering me up.� Justin said, hugging me. �Hey, anytime.� I said, running my hand down his cheek. Justin looked at me and sighed. �If it weren�t for Ashley, I would have made a move on you.� He said with a shy smile. I smiled. �Well, Ashley and me aren�t together yet, so, ya know, you can still do it�� I joked and winked. �Really?!� Justin asked. I laughed softly. �No, kidding, I�m sorry, J.� I said, smiling. �Yeah, me too.� Justin said, �Well, I better get back even though I don�t want to.� He said with a sigh. �You know, if you don�t wanna be alone right now, you�re welcome to stay here.� I said. �Thanks, that�d be great, but I better get home. You know, so you can be alone with Ashley and everything.� Justin said. �Well, your choice. But if you change your mind, just let me know, okay?� I said with a smile. �Sure.� Justin said. We talked to around 8:50 and then Justin left. Ashley arrived a few minutes later with pizza�s, coke and ice cream. �Mmm, my fave, chocolate chip.� I said, nodding at the ice cream. �Hehe, me too.� Ashley said. I gave him a quick kiss and we went into the living room. The �dinner� was pretty much just Ashley and I feeding each other with pizza and after that, feeding each other with ice cream. �You�re so cute.� I whispered, as we were laying on the couch, Ashley on top of me and the TV running in the background but none of us paying attention. �Well, if I�m cute, then you�re just twice as cute.� Ashley said, kissing my nose. I pouted. �That�s all I get?� I said, giving him puppy dog eyes. Ashley grinned. �Want more?� He asked. I smiled. �Yes, please.� I said. Ashley kissed me again, for real this time, as he was running his hands through my hair. Our tongues were playing and I couldn�t help but slipping my hands inside his shirt and running them down his chest. Ashley broke the kiss and grinned to me. �Finding something good in there?� He asked with a smile. �Oh yeah. You should see.� I smiled and we kissed again. �Damn! I seriously want you.� Ashley softly said after we broke the kiss. �Uh-huh. I think I sense some movement in the lower department.� I joked, smiling. �Oh yeah!� Ashley grinned. �I�d love to, I really would, but ya know, everything�s so new and you know� I just think we should wait a while and get to know each other better. Maybe a date or two more before we do anything.� I said with a smile. �Okay, how �bout we go out tomorrow and the day after that and then hit it? Nah, kidding.
