| Chapter 4 I woke up the next day by someone knocking furiously on my door. "What?" I mumbled to myself, checking the clock. For God's sake, it was only 1 PM! I stumbled out on my bed and quickly threw on a T-shirt that went to my knees. I checked on Justin before running downstairs. He was sound asleep and I smiled as I ran downstairs. I opened the door and a very handsome guy I didn't know was standing there. "Hi." I said and smiled. "Hey. Is Justin here?" He asked. "Why?" I asked. "'Cause I'm Justin's friend and Britney called me this morning, telling me he didn't come home, but she thought he may be here, so I promised to check, since I live next door to him. So is he?" The guy asked again. "Yeah. He's sleeping, come on in." I said. "Thanks. By the way my name is Nick. Nick Carter." He said and smiled. "Nice to meet ya, Nick. I'm Ann Carray." I said and smiled back. Nick followed me into the kitchen. "You want some coffee or something? I think there's a coffee machine here somewhere." I said, scanning the kitchen. Nick laughed softly. "No thanks, I'm alright." He said as he sat down on the kitchen table. "Okay. Do you mind if I eat some breakfast?" I asked. "Of course not. Go ahead." Nick said and smiled to me. Darn, he was sexy when he smiled! Well, he was sexy any time. Tall, short, blonde hair, blue eyes, big built - just the way I liked 'em. "Thanks." I said and smiled. I found some cereal and poured some. "Get your butt off the table, I'm supposed to eat there." I said, smiling to Nick. "Ah, come on. You don't want a piece of this?" Nick joked, showing me his butt. 'Oh, fine as hell!' I thought to myself. I laughed at him. "Excuse me while I throw up." I said and winked at him. I sat down in a chair and Nick did the same in the one across of mine. We were talking about everything when Justin walked in, wearing only boxers. "Morning, sunshine. Slept good?" I asked, knowing he probably had the worst hangover. "Ugh, don't mention it." Justin growled, getting himself a glass of water. "Yo, J. I've got some sausages, bacon and eggs at my house - want some?" Nick said and laughed at Justin, as Justin quickly ran upstairs, searching for the bathroom. "Nick!" I said, giving him a stern look, but then also laughed. "I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself." He said, smiling to me. "Meanie. I'll just go check on him. Be right back." I said, quickly walking upstairs and into the bathroom. Justin was hanging over the toilet, looking sick. "How are ya, hun?" I asked, taking a wash cloth, wetting it with cold water and placing it on his forehead. "I feel like I've drank 50 Budweiser's." Justin mumbled. I smiled. "Well, you hit it pretty big last night, sweetie." I said, sitting down next to him and taking his hand. "Probably why." He said, closing his eyes. "Yeah. Umm, Justin, I need to ask you something. Do you remember anything from last night at all?" I asked, looking at him. "A bit. Why?" He asked. "Well, umm... do you remember the stuff with Britney? What you said, I mean?" I asked. "No, why?" He asked, opening his eyes and looking at me. "On, no reason." I said. "Is it..." Justin began, then paused, "Is it because you caught her doing some stuff with some guy?" He asked. "Well, kinda." I said, looking at him. "Well, I know about that stuff. A lot of people does." He said. "Then why are you with her? I'm not trying to break you up or anything, I'm just wondering about this." I said. "Well... I love Britney, I really do. And she loves me too. But only as friends, ya know? The only reason we're going out is pretty much because of the press and because of our parents." Justin said. "Oh. Your parents expect you to get married and have kids and everything?" I asked. "Well... yeah." Justin said. "I see." I said. We didn't talk any further about this. I just sat with him a few minutes and then helped him back into bed. As I walked into the kitchen, I found Nick eating a bowl of cereal himself. "I'm sorry, but you took so long and I haven't had cereal in a long time." Nick said, his mouth full of cereal. I laughed. "It's okay, Nick." I said as I sat down and finished my own. *Later* Nick had asked me to go back to his house and take a swim in the pool, but I'd thanked no. "Maybe another day. I feel like I should be with Justin." I said, as I let Nick out. I walked back upstairs and into the guestroom to find Justin lying on the bed with his eyes open. "Hey. Can I come in?" I asked. "Sure." Justin said. I walked in and sat down on the bed. "Are you feeling better?" I asked, brushing my hands over his cheek. He smiled tiredly. "A little, yeah. Come lay here with me." He said and moved closer into the wall. I laid down and rested my head on the arm he offered me. I looked into his eyes and smiled. "What's funny?" He asked. "Nothing. You just look so cute laying here." I said. Justin wrinkled his nose. "Cute?! Ugh, that's the word that has described me for the last 5 years. I'm tired of being cute - I wanna be sexy!" He said. I laughed, as I drew small circles with my fingers on his bare chest. "Okay, sexy then if it makes you happy." I said and smiled up to him. "It does, thank you very much." He said and smiled to me. We lay in silence as I continued playing with my fingers on his chest until Justin took my hand. "Stop!" He said. "Why?" I asked. "Because," he said, taking my hand and placing it on his erection outside his boxers, "This is what it does to me." I laughed. "Justin, jeez, if this is what it does to you, what would happen if I did something else?" I asked. "You don't wanna know." Justin said and smiled. "Maybe I do." I said, looking into his eyes. "God, please forgive me." Justin whispered as he leaned down and kissed me. Story Index Next Chapter |
