| Chapter 1 "Damn, those are some heavy-ass boxes." I sighed to myself, as I was dragging one of the boxes out of my van and trying to lift it. I was just in the middle of moving - from Denmark to Florida. Why would I move such a long distance? Well, I'd always hated living in Denmark. The weather was always bad and rainy, plus I'd gotten a job offered as a web designer in Florida. So I took the chance of a lifetime, packed my bags and now I was here, moving into a nice house in Tampa, Florida. The house wasn't that big, but it was good enough for me, since it was only myself who was gonna live in it. As I dragged the heavy box out of the van, I noticed a person standing some feet away from me. I couldn't see who it was, as I got the sun in my face. "Hi." The person said, sounding friendly. "Hello." I replied, still not being able to see. The person stepped in front of the sun and I could now clearly see. It was a man, around 22 years old, short brown curly hair, tall, baby blue eyes and an amazing smile. "Need some help?" He asked. "Oh yes, thank you so much!" I said and smiled to him. He grabbed a box and we began walking towards my new house. "I'm Justin Timberlake. Looks like I'm gonna be your new neighbor. Tough luck. Who're you?" He asked and smiled again as I unlocked the door and pushed it open. "I'm Ann Carray. Looks like I'M gonna be YOUR new neighbor, so tough luck for YOU." I said with a smile, as we walked inside and put the boxes down in the living room. "So this is how it looks." I mumbled to myself, as I inspected the living room. "What?" Justin asked, as he sat down on a chair. "I was just saying this is how it looks. I didn't see it until now." I explained. "You bought a house you hadn't even seen?" He asked, shocked. "Well, yeah, I wasn't exactly gonna fly all the way from Denmark down here just to buy a house." I said and smiled. "You're from Denmark? Tight!" Justin replied with a smile. "Yeah, well, I like Florida better. So much warmer." I said. "Yeah. Plus you got a cute neighbor." Justin said and winked at me. I laughed. "Cute? Naaah, whatcha talking 'bout?!" I teased with a mocking grin. *Later* "Thank you so much for the help, Justin, that was so sweet of you." I said, as I smiled to him. We were outside and Justin had helped me with all of my stuff. "Hey, no problem. Glad I could help. Hey, I was thinking. My girlfriend and me are going out tonight. Would you like to come with us?" He asked. "I'd love to... but, I mean, what would your girlfriend say?" I asked. "Oh, she'll love you, I'm sure. It won't be a problem, really. We'll just go out to dinner somewhere and then to a club. Nothing fancy." Justin said with a smile. "Well, cool then. I'd love to." I said and smiled. "Cool. Can you get ready till 7:30?" He asked. "Sure." I said. "Great. We'll pick ya up then. So long." He said, as he flashed me what I'd named the "million dollar smile" and walked over to himself. "Great. The first guy I meet is of course the cutest one I've ever seen and he's got a girlfriend. Oh yeah, I bet I'll love her too." I mumbled sarcastically, as I walked upstairs and into the bathroom. I filled water in the tub and had been in for five minutes, when the doorbell rang. "Great!" I sighed, as I quickly found a towel, threw it around me and ran downstairs. "Hey." I said to the guy standing outside. "Oh, hi, I'm sorry, is this a bad time?" He asked, looking at my dripping wet hair. "Umm, no, I love getting interrupted when I'm taking baths. Nah, joking, it's okay. So who're you?" I asked with a smile. "I'm Ashley. Ashley Angel. I just wanna welcome you to the neighborhood, that's all." He said and smiled. What was this? Was all the guys in Florida just that cute when they smiled? "Hehe, thank you. You know, you're the second guy I meet in two hours. I already met Justin." I said, and nodded towards Justin's house. "Yeah, I know. He called me and told me to go and welcome you. Only he didn't say anything about you being this fine." He said with a smirk. I felt I blushed. "Well, I usually don't walk around in a towel, so I guess that's why." I said. "Hahaha, maybe. Well, enjoy your bath. If you need anything, I'm right next door. Talk to ya later." He said and smiled at me as he turned around to leave. I closed the door and hurried upstairs and into the tub. "Maybe this isn't gonna be so bad at all? Justin on one side, Ashley on the other. They're both so cute." I said out loud and smiled for myself. Story Index Next Chapter |
