Upcoming Events!
- On March 22, the orchestras have Festival at Garden Grove High School. Zero Period Orchestra will leave LQ at 7 AM, perform at 8:30, and be back by 10:30. 2nd Period Orchestra will leave LQ at 8:30, perform at 10, and back to LQ by 12:30. GATE Orchestra will meet at GGHS at 3:45 and perform at 4:30
2nd Period Orchestra - 2006 - 2007
The string orchestra performs several times a year, and due to their reputation of excellence, are often invited to perform at special functions throughout the area. The group has been invited to perform annually at Disneyland, and they consistently earn high ratings at music festivals.
Zero Period Orchestra - 2006 - 2007
The Advanced String Orchestra is selected by �audition only� but is open to all students. Auditions are held at the end of May at LQHS. The Advanced Orchestra plays technically challenging music, discusses theory and history in greater detail, and performs at several functions in and around the district. Advanced Orchestra is currently offered as a zero period class. The Advanced Orchestra has consistently earned Superior ratings at music festival for more than ten years.
