LINKIN PARK made a pro-NAPSTER stand at the opening show of their first major UK tour last night (June 4) in LONDON.

And they urged fans at their sell-out gig at Brixton Academy to download tracks that aren't included on their gold-selling debut album, 'Hybrid Theory'.

Speaking about the songs 'High Voltage' and 'End One', rapper Mike Shinoda said: "We support free music. So go ahead! Download that shit!"

Later, vocalist Chester Bennington berated fans for moshing too violently during 'Runaway'. "I don't wanna see any more girls who look like they've had the shit kicked out of them," he chided. "What happened to chivalry? You see someone fall down, you pick 'em up!" Bennington then performed a solo acoustic rendition of new track 'The Morning After'- "a song about sleeping in your car".

Linkin Park, whose new single 'Papercut' is released on June 18, will shortly be joining Black Sabbath, Marilyn Manson, Papa Roach and Slipknot on the US-leg of the Ozzfest tour.
