Linkin Park, you may have heard of them or you may not have, they have been on the music scene for quite a while now. There are six guys in the group; Mike, Joe, Rob, Chester, Brad, and Phoenix. They came about around 1996 from Mikes bedroom. Although they only have one CD out they get recognition from many different types of music lovers. Some of their influences are Nine Inch Nails, Aphex Twin, Deftones and The Roots.

Linkin park is one of the bands that does not need to use any curse words to get the point across. Their music is mostly about pain and hard things to deal with. A lot of it is also about relationships. Their compact disk has 12 tracks on it. The performed at Bigger Day Out in Atlanta on September 22.They have also been on MTV many times promoting their new video or just performing. Their CD is called HYBRID THEORY. They have 3 singles out, Crawling, One Step Closer, and In The End.

Linkin Park is an alternative/heavy metal band. They are really good at what they do. Personally I think they are great! There is a lot of screaming in the music which is why you more than likely should not listen to this CD when you are about to go to bed. Listening to HYBRID THEORY is a good way to let out anger. You can scream along with the music, It is great! "It took Linkin Park five years to become an overnight success" but all the work they put into becoming this good was really worth it. They get recognition from different artists and the music community as a whole. They stay connected with their fans and seem to be really down to earth guys. Their fans of course are the most important thing to them. Really though, without fans then who is listening, and buying records. Linkin Park will be around for a while and their fan base will continue to grow as long as they keep making music. Yes, it may take a while to reach everyone with their music but soon they will be a success all over the world. Go out and buy HYBRID THEORY today, I promise you that you wont be disappointed.
