Linkin Park Get Paranoid

Linkin Park invited Kerrang! down to the LA film-set of their new video on April 25. The video is for the band's next single, 'Papercut', which will be released in the UK on June 11.

The Promo clip was co-directed by the band's DJ Joe Hahn and former Coal Chamber/Disturbed video-director Nathan 'Karma' Cox. The theme is paranoia, with the band gradually falling prey to bizarre visionaas the clip progresses. Filming called for drummer Rob Bourdon to wear some bizarre make-up which made his face look distorted.

The band are currently on their first ever tours of New Zealand, Australia and Japan. On their return, they will play some German festivals before hitting the UK for their headline show at Brixton Academy on June 4. After that, they will head out on the US Ozzfest. While travveling with this event, they intend to start writing the follow up to 'Hybrid Theory'.

A spokesperson for the band's management told Kerrang!: "They are so anxious to start writing they they'll probably be fighting for the use of the rig they are taking with them. Everybody's got stuff stockpiled."

Linkin Park's debut album 'Hybrid Theory' has now sold over 2.3 million copies worldwide, with a 10th of that amount being sold in the UK. As the band's 'Crawling' video is currently the Number One most-requested clip on Kerrang!TV, 'Papercut' is certain to be at least as popular.
