Warning: I'll try not to spoil any goodies of the DVD but if you'r the type of person that likes shock value over knowing what
"might" come up next, don't read my sad review.
[LINKIN PARK]: frat party at the pankake festival The minute you strip away the plastic sealing you'll be delighted to the various blurr shots of the band on the DVD "jacket" and a ticket, that's right, a ticket to join the Linkin Park Fan Club. The DVD is packed into one disc divided into 14 Chapters "Plus many more surprises..." which in fact: they live up to. From beginning to end you'll ride with the band as they show backstage footage as well as their .. oh, lets say pre-bandish-times. Unlike the bonus in the Crawling Single you'll actually get to see everyone from the band on camera, they'll talk, act goofy and tell their stories. The initial idea/concept of the DVD is to explain Beginning ---> End of what it's like riding the wave of the coined phrase "Over night success"--which they are not by the way. While I wish they opted to show live performances of their songs in place of the actual video a la: OSC, Crawling, ITE, etc. I wouldn't be to disappointed though, they are in MUCH better quality than any video on the net. Not only that, there's a "Cure For The Itch" video, starring the one and only Mr. Hanh. That alone should be a reason to buy this DVD. You'll get a pretty indepth tour of their bus and where each member sleeps, play, write, eat, etc. Plus, you'll get a teaser of them tinkling at the back of the bus as [I'm guessing] they're working on their new album, and yes, you do get a "little" sample of sound of what to expect. [Bonus]: Features. - As an added bonus you'll get to have behind to scene shots of the creation of "Crawling" & "In The End" - Chester's tattoos and an explanation to their meaning. - Artwork done by Mike & Joe - HighVoltage and My December off of the OSC Single. - A remix of Crawling by Bluegrass I believe it was. In the end. Just buy it. It's well worth it if you're a full-blooded Linkin Park fan, you'll laugh, sing, and know the band better by just watching this DVD. The added bonuses are more than enough to keep you rewinding it back just in case you missed something. " |
