Linkin Park - 'Papercut' (Warner Bros)
Another tale of angst, anger and paranoia from the Californian rap-metal quintet. Lifted from debut album 'Hybrid Theory', this finds all the usual elements in place. Meaty, razor sharp rock riffing, robust, pounding beats, Mike Shinoda's rough-edged emceeing and Chester Bennington's Eddi Vedder-lite vocals.
Business as usual then, guaranteed to get your average, angsty, angry, paranoid skate-punk-metal dude psyched up so much his acne will burst. Comes with energetic, atmospheric live versions of 'Points Of Authority' and 'Papercut' tacked on at the end.
