Linkin Park Get Support

One of the most successful bands to emerge from the nu metal scene, Linkin Park have finally revealed the support acts for their imminent UK dates.

Hotly-tipped Puddle Of Mudd, Adema and hip hop crew Dilated Peoples will open for the 'Park at their shows at Manchester's Apollo (Sept 15) and London's massive Docklands Arena (Sept 16).

If you're scratching your head wondering who these bands are, dotmusic can assure you that these shows promise to showcase some of the most talked about new bands on the scene.

Limp Bizkit's frontman Fred Durst kicked off his career in record company A&R by making Kansas City band Puddle Of Mudd his first signing to his Flawless imprint. Believe it or not Mudd's frontman Wes Scantlin managed to sneak into a Limp Bizkit show with a fake backstage pass and handed a demo tape to a security guard. The rest is history. UK fans can get hold of their debut album 'Come Clean' on September 10.

Adema have just finished supporting Staind and have been one of America's most talked about new heavy rock bands of recent months due to some interesting family ties - vocalist Marky Chavez is the half-brother of Korn frontman Jonathan Davis.

You'll be able to read all about the show on dotmusic.com.

Note: You'll also be able to hear about the show first hand right here on LPWithYou, from Webmaster Liz who will be attending and reviweing the London show!
