Question: What's more boring than being in an asylum?

Answer: Being in an asylum and knowing you�re not mad.

That's what's going down with Brad and me. We're here in this half-baked excuse for a loony bin because our dear families thought we had a screw or six loose between us.

Ah yeah, I better explain. You get into this place for a number of things. Brad's in for uncontrollable fear of anything and everything. I remember one time he was afraid of the dark but also of the light. We spent a good fun night wide-awake because Brad wanted the damn light on one second and off the next, and I was the one nearest to the switch. I don�t mind really though, I mean, it's one of those things isn't it? Stuff happens.

As for me, I'm in for paranoia. I'm not the only one either; there are a few others in here who are paranoid. I don't really talk to them much though, since they're usually more concerned with whether you're one of the spud people in disguise trying to steal their brains than an intelligent conversation. Me, I just don't care if someone's out to get me, because God, if anyone gets through the security here then he or she is superhuman.

Either that or a flea.

I haven't introduced myself. I'll do that now.
