The Freshman Trip to Vertical Endeavors, December 2002
These climbing walls are simply the best indoor walls in this state. And all of the routes are very well marked.
My brother and I visited Vertical Endeavors just outside of Chicago. This is an image of me traversing the cracks.
The walls vary in size from 35 ft to about 60 ft. The routes range in difficulty from 5.4 - 5.12. If you ever get tired of climbing the set routes you can try using the natural features to scale the walls.
Adjacent to the kids wall is this immense tree carved into the rock. With very little to grab on to, it  is dubbed the Tree-o-doom!
Where's Raju? For sport/ lead climbers with skills there is a massive arch that spans the width of this climbing arena. It is definitely something for me to look forward to.
