It is illegal in all 50 states, for anyone to consume, purchase or serve alcohol if they are under the age of 21. Although many people believe that this is the law’s way of limiting our fun, teens do not realize the significant changes that their bodies go through during adolescence. In beginning junior high, high school, or college, many teens are unfortunately forced to make important decisions with an immature mind and body. Other than cigarettes, alcohol is the only other drug that is legal for any age group to use. As a result, alcohol is the number one most commonly used drug by American teenagers.
