Served as Chief of the Division Medical Operation Center for 3rd Infantry Division for an eight month period. I was asked to interview for a General's Aide position, I was selected and therefore moved to Heidelberg, Germany and worked at 7th MEDCOM.. (1991-1992) |

I served as an Aide-de-Camp for one year, then attended the Officer Advance Course at Ft. Sam Houston, San Antonio, TX the summer of 1993. I returned to Germany following the course and served as the Executive Officer of the largest Army clinic in Germany. I lived in Baumholder, Germany for the next year and a half. (1993-1995) |

In June 1995, I assumed command of C Company, 26th Forward Support Battalion, 3rd Infantry Division, located in Vilseck, Germany
I commanded for 21 months. During that period we deployed in support of Operation Joint Endeavor with Task Force Eagle. This was the initial wave of the IFOR. The company established operations in Zupanja, Croatia, with the tracked ambulance squad positioned south of the Sava River in Bosnia. We deployed January 2, 1996 and returned to Germany in September.
While deployed, the 3rd Infantry Division was reflagged 1st Infantry Division. I therefore became Commander of C, 201 FSB, 1st Infantry Division. (1995-1997) |

My next assignment was as an Observer/Controller at the Combat Maneuver Training Center, Hohenfels, Germany. My call sign was Adler 24. I served as the Senior Medical Observer Controller for all USAREUR units rotating through the combat training center. (1997-1998) |

I served as Chief of B Team, teaching the Officer Basic Course for about 18 months at Ft. Sam Houston, Department of Healthcare Operations. I then moved to Combined Arms Branch where I spent the next year running military simulation exercises.
