I served in the Persian Gulf with 4-7 Infantry Battalion, Phantom Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division. Phantom Brigade was the spearhead for 1st Armor Division during the ground war attack. I was the Task Force Medical Platoon Leader. My unit has been identified as being at risk to exposure in a study cited. I personally have not had any symptoms to date. Many other Gulf War veterans have not been so fortunate and have experienced a variety of physical symptoms and illnesses.
